Annual Dinner and Prize Giving Ceremony 2008

The Annual Pharmacy Dinner and Prize Giving Ceremony was held at the University Club, UWA on September 6th, 2008. The evening was attended by students of the Pharmacy Programme, including Master's students and pharmacy Ph.D. students, along with some of the graduates of 2008 and graduates from 2007 who are now registered pharmacists.

Subject and year prizes were awarded during dinner to the Year 1 and 2 students by representatives from the various sponsors (detailed below)

Guests attending the Dinner included representatives from The Pharmaceutical Council of W.A., Pharmaceutical Defence Limited, Society for Hospital Pharmacists of Australia, Pharmacy Departments in the teaching hospitals, and representatives from the pharmaceutical industry, including Amcal Regional Group, Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, Wyeth Australia Pty Ltd and the CoPharmacy group.

Gladys Heedes Medal: Our premier award to the top student in the Class of 2008 was awarded by Gladys Heedes to Erin Edwards.
